Race #4 – HOP Race – Morganton NC – 10/04/08
Our first race in October was the 7th annual HOP Race (HOP stands for “Help Our Project”) in Morganton NC, held by the Morganton Service League at Martha’s Park. Very nice setting with a lot (but not so many you were completely lost in the crowd) of runners in both the 5k and 10k races. About half the race was along the scenic Catawba River Greenway. The food was great (pizza and lots of fresh fruit and pastries) and the medals were nice as well.
